Artisan’s Breadmaking: The craft of making and baking is a truly sensory experience, and the process and practice is a venerable and time-honoured tradition honed over more than 6000 years. The basic course in artisan bread making and baking is something to be cherished, and a skill which you can take home with you. To ensure that you are steeped in the history, this worthwhile course is offered by The Chef School of Food and Wine. To add to the atmosphere, this will be in the kitchens of the School, which is an historical Victorian home dating back to 1909. This will include a light lunch.
Knife-Making Course - During this HANDS-On course, you will be carefully guided to enable you to make your very own knife of your dreams. It will be something you will be proud of, because a very high standard is insisted on by your instructor.
All necessary materials and a step-by-step manual, soft drinks and meals are supplied during the intensive 2-day workshop. On completion of the workshop, you WILL be the proud owner of a really special handmade knife to take home. To prove that you are the crafter, your name will be etched on the blade. A memory forever!
